On my shopping list for 2029. Unless some good v9 systems appear on a market. Or someone find spare one and send me (but that’s not gonna happen) ;D ---

I see it is in CEB form factor. Does it fit in a similar case like the [ASRock Rack ALTRAD8UD-1L2T](https://www.asrockrack.com/general/productdetail.asp?Model=ALTRAD8UD-1L2T#Specifications)? Bad timing with this huge spike in RAM prices. I hope Noctua will make a quiet fan like the ones for Ampere Altra. ---

Same depth as the “deep Micro-ATX” ALTRAD8UD1L2T but wider. Is 12” because 6 x16 PCIe slots. So think about ATX or E-ATX cases, for example Fractal Meshify 3 XL which is what @bexcran uses. ARCTIC makes Freezer 4U-M AmpereOne cooler that is lovely and quiet which should be in retail shortly. I believe supported DIMM configurations are 2, 4, 6, 8 so you’ve some flexibility to get going with less memory. ---

The AMPONED8-2T/BCM fits in the Fractal Meshify (non XL version) too. ARCTIC has a 4U-M listed but it’s EOL and supports Altra but not AmpereOne. The 4U-M Rev 2 doesn’t support Ampere CPUs, but I guess there’s a Rev 3 coming. ---

Sorry the 4U-M Ampere version is _not_ EOL but there might be a revision of it for Intel/AMD CPUs that is. ---
