There is a tutorial for selecting the cryptography libraries for Ampere processores, including the Altra family and AmpereOne family.

This tutorial compares the performance of OpenSSL and AWS-LC libraries. Also, AmpereOne introduces new crypto features (SHA3, SHA512 and RNG) and bring better performance.

Handy hint; Ubuntu 25.04 Puffin is OpenSSL 3.4.1 which has OpenSSLā€™s optimised performance for AmpereOne.
