There have been a lot of posts around using Ampere server processors in the personal world, which is awesome (I love seeing the boards). But what about them in servers. Here is a review of ScaleMatrix’s testing of the HPE ProLiant RL300 Gen11. One of things that stands out to me is the 30-40% electricity savings over x86, while performing slightly better on their internal tests.
