Are there any updates to them?
I can get Hynix 16GB DDR4 RDIMM 3200MHz HMA82GR7CJR8N-XN ECC quite cheap for example. But they are not on a list.
Hi Marcin! Here is the Ampere Altra AVL from March 2024 for our Mt Jade reference platform. It is the most complete, most up to date list. Computer manufacturers can also qualify and support additional DIMMs themselves on their computers, which is why you might see a few additional DIMMs in their lists.
SK Hynix does very well in our internal testing. We have qualified and support 14 different SK Hynix DIMMs for Ampere Altra.
HMA82GR7CJR4N-XN is in the AVL list
HMA82GR7CJR8N-XN is not in the AVL list
My experience has been that memory in the Ampere Altra AVL works on all Altra computers. I’ve seen memory in the same family also work but no promises. The happy path is use memory listed in the AVL.
If you care to say, which motherboard are you using in your build?

Are there any sensible options other than Altrad8ud-1l2t? Not seen them (at least not in EU).
