There has been some discussion in the kernel mailing list about the pcie alignment bug.
An alternative/additional set of patches have been submitted by Alex Bennée.

Has anyone tried them, and seen something different than with the standard workaround?
It’s interesting to see this is now getting attention by the kernel folks, as it appears this bug might also affect NVIDIA drivers in recent kernels.
