Do new Ampere Altra CPU’s come with a torque wrench?
I bought a used CPU on eBay that did not include a wrench.
This is a link to a wrench that could be used for Threadrippers and Epycs. Would it work for an Altra as well?

It should be fine. I use a Wheeler Digital Fat Wrench set to 12.5 inch pounds which is 1.5 ish N m.
I found out that applying the correct pressure on the CPU frame is no guarantee that the CPU will work without problems. The pressure applied by the CPU cooler is just as important.

For future reference, I got the Husky 1/4in electronic torque screwdriver from Home Depot, and it works very well. Just be aware that you’re looking for a screwdriver, not a wrench.
You’ll want to use the Torx T20 bit on the LOTES SKT4926 socket.
