Excellent news! I’ve heard very good things about this conference. It’s actually the first year my friends from Jenkins didn’t make it, but we usually attend every year.

it seems bigger than last year. At least they have a lot more booths, but it is very community driven, so not fancy.

And since it is such a local event, a lot of people bring their kids, spouses, etc. It is a lot of fun.

I stopped by the booth at SCaLE and asked about how we could convince Proxmox to begin supporting arm64. As of Dec 2025, they indicated that there are no plans to release a supported version of their virtualization solution.

I believe xcp-ng is working with Ampere to get their software ported to aarch64.
