Ampere Mt. Collins Red Health Light LED issue

Hi Ampere community, I have a few Ampere Mt. Collins 2U servers, but some have a Red Health LED. From IPMI SEL records, I noticed that on the servers with the red light, this pair of records is asserted as the last events after rebooting.

If anyone has any advice or experience as to why these servers might have the red light on, all help would be appreciated. Thank you :smiley:

Hi! I’m sorry you didn’t get a more timely answer to your question!

You don’t say whether the servers are malfunctioning at all - does the red light indicate any dysfunction, or are you curious why the light is on?

Additionally, Mt Collins has shown that some OS would show the Red LED (Fedora 39 for example) but others did not (CentOS, Ubuntu). Which OS are you using ?

I am using the Ubuntu 22.04, but I never check the frontpanel light.
