Coding Challenges/ Contests?

Hello all,

We are just starting to think about running an AI Coding Challenge/Contest and were looking for some ideas (or things to avoid).

The goal would be get people to think about Ampere/Arm64 are a good solution vs. running everything on GPUs. They work well for modeling but are too expensive and use too much energy for inference.

  • Has anyone done one of these, especially one that helped you learn AI?
  • One idea was to start off with an easy challenge and then move to more difficult ones.
  • Any ideas on what the challenge should be?
  • Any courses or topics that you would recommend?

Sounds interesting! I believe it can encourage people to explore additional use cases for Ampere/Arm64, especially in edge scenarios. There are some great competitions on Kaggle, which also offer excellent tutorials and resources. People can prepare themselves through them.
