Proxmox VE multiarch ISO builder

I’ve just come across this tool for building a Proxmox VE boot ISO. Builds successfully on Ubuntu 24 running on a 4 core OCI A1 Ampere based instance.

The developer team at Proxmox have been equivocating as to whether they should go ahead with support but the Proxmox community effort for Arm64 seems to be solid.

Nice! I had seen @jiangcuo’s work on a Proxmox port before, did not realize that they had an ISO builder project too.

We have a Lab full of Ampere servers for developement, testing and POC projects. I would love to have Proxmox utilize these ressources to add an official release. We host private clouds based on Proxmox for SMB and Enterprise customers and would love to offer Ampere as an option. See Alpha3 Cloud fpr more info.

Could CloudStack or Open Nebula be an alternative to PXvirt ? ( GitHub - jiangcuo/pxvirt: A fork of Proxmox VE for ARM and LoongArch architectures )
I realise it’s a change of stack and therefore a reasonable learning curve.
